Dismissed “With Prejudice”

A case dismissed “with prejudice” means that the lawsuit can not re-filed. When a lawsuit is settled, the payment is contingent on the creditor dismissing the lawsuit with prejudice.  This way you can ensure that the debt is gone and the lawsuit will never be re-filed.
